Centerton Planning Commission Update: What Local Homeowners Should Know | By Your Luxury Real Estate Advisor at Engel & Völkers Bentonville

As your local luxury real estate advisor with Engel & Völkers Bentonville, I stay closely connected to the decisions shaping Centerton’s growth. Last night’s Planning Commission meeting was short, but several updates are worth noting for homeowners, buyers, and investors.
Modluxe Townhomes Extension Approved
The Modluxe Townhomes project at Womack Road received a one-year extension. The holdup comes from sewer capacity issues at the state level, not from the development team. All city comments have already been addressed. Once utilities catch up, they’ll be ready to move. The commission approved the extension with no objections.
The Landing Subdivision Amended Final Plat
The Landing at Greenhouse Road presented an amended final plat with a single update: reflecting the rear setback reduction already approved in their PUD amendment. This step keeps the official documents consistent for the building department. Another unanimous approval.
Key Announcements & Staff Updates
• City Council meeting: December 9
• Planning Commission meeting: December 16
A quick warning also came up. Scam emails have surfaced pretending to be from the city and requesting wire transfers. If something feels off, verify it. The city made it clear that no legitimate request like that would come through email.
Downtown Plan Progress & New City Branding
Garver and ISD are wrapping up the discovery phase for the downtown plan. Their findings should be ready by the end of the year, with community engagement picking up in early 2026.
The new city branding and logo are in their final stages. As someone who has served on the committee helping develop this brand, I’m truly excited to see this work reach the finish line. It reflects who Centerton is becoming, and I can’t wait for the community to see it roll out early next year.
Why These Updates Matter
Planning decisions set the foundation for future growth, neighborhood character, and long-term property values. I follow these meetings so you stay informed without having to read every agenda yourself.
If you want help understanding how these changes might affect your property or next move, I’m here to guide you.
